Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, on the page About the Magazine.

Author Guidelines

The standards for formatting and preparing originals are:

- Maximum 20 pages;

- Maximum of 8 authors;

- Verdana font size 12, line spacing 1.5;

- Figures, Tables and Tables must appear next to the text, editable, in font 10, both for the content and the title (which must come just above the elements) and font (which must come just below the graphic element).

- Title in Portuguese, English and Spanish at the beginning of the file, with font 14;

- Summary and keywords with single spacing, just below the title;

This journal adopts as its editorial policy the guidelines for good scientific publishing practices from the National Association for Research and Postgraduate Studies in Administration (ANPAD), available at:

- To access the Template for authors, it is necessary to login on the site to guarantee security and personalization. If you don't have an account, you can create one quickly by clicking 'Register'. The login or document will be available for download.

Publication fee:

- This magazine does not charge a submission fee;

- This magazine charges the publication of articles, worth:

R$ 575.00 per article to be published for Brazilians.
US$ 150.00 per article to be published for foreigners.

Copyright for articles published in this journal belongs to the author, with first publication rights assigned to the Journal. By virtue of the articles appearing in this public access journal, the articles are free to use, at their own discretion, in educational and non-commercial applications. In case of republication in other vehicles, mention should be made of the first publication in Contemporânea.

Privacy Statement

  •  The content of the articles is the sole responsibility of the authors.
  •  The total or partial reproduction of the content of the articles is allowed, provided the source is mentioned.
  •  Articles with plagiarism will be refused, and the author of the plagiarism will lose the right to publish in this magazine.

  •  Once you submit the articles, the authors give the copyright of their articles to the RC. If you regret the submission, the author has the right to ask the RC not to publish his article.
